The Training Kitchen at HSDI measuring 2300 Sq. Ft. has zones listed below:
There are 16 nos Well Equipped Work Stations.
Will Prepare menu items demonstrated by Chef Instructor.
This zone holds Refrigerators, Freezers and space for holding days stock of Provisions, Vegetables, Meat, Poultry and Dairy Products.
Chef Instructors will demonstrate planned menu items and exhibit here skills to be developed and practiced by students
Designed to demonstrate Butchery Skills – for Cleaning, Cutting and Preparing for Cooking - Meat, Chicken and Sea Food.
Basic Quantity Food Production Training Facility is provided to demonstrate and practice preparation of food for Institutional Catering and Banquets. Advanced Quantity Food Production training will be provided in Applied Training Centre @Niyaaz Group Central Kitchen and Restaurants
Instructors Demo Setup to exhibit to student’s live bakery and patisserie watch & practice sessions.
Well equipped workstations to practice individual bakery & patisserie.
At HSDI , The Training Centre will have a Training Restaurant.
The Restaurant will be on lines of a modern set up based on current restaurant standards.
A Well Designed Bar Counter will be a learning centre for practicals in Bar Tending Services.
Class Room Training with Audio Visual Aids will be provided.
All students will have opportunities to learn service skills from experienced trainers.
Visit to Bars in Hotels and Restaurants will enhance learning experiences of students.
Assistance will be provided desiring students to seek Part Time Employment to gain extra experience and also to Earn and Learn.
